Silverfang (also called Silv, or Kat) is an American artist with a passion for art and the endless meaning, feeling, and interpretation that goes into an artwork's conception. Born in 1995, they have offered freelance commissions since around 2013, and in 2023 graduated from Full Sail University with a Game Art Bachelor's of Science, which has supported their newly introduced 3D art knowledge. They have dabbled in many different options: concept art, illustration, icons, conceptual book covers, and even artistic UI design, but above all has prized the freedom of a no-rules, personal-bounds (that is to say, boundless) way of creating art.

They have been entranced with the idea of translating feeling and emotion into tangible, evocative forms - or into forms that cause the viewer to ponder, and is obsessed with experimentation. This shows through different art forms, styles, principles, elements, and anything that can be manipulated, played with, broken. Not so surprisingly, much of this translates into their work showing animals or animal-esque creatures attempting to convey a certain feeling... Or even attempting to grasp it themselves.
